7 Things Girls Do That Guys Perceive As Flirting

By on December 30, 2012

If you’re a guy and are wondering if “that girl” is giving you signs that she likes you, here’s your article. Girls if you’re looking for ways to flirt with or catch the attention of “that guy” then utilize these tips! Of course, if you’ve been doing these things to someone who you do not like, then be warned you are leading him on, which is in fact a bad thing.

This is entirely from a guy’s perspective, and most would agree that the following is flirting:

1) If she makes eye contact with you for several seconds, and then smiles. Should this be repeated more than once, then it is definitely flirting and she is not just being a nice person.

2) If she bats her eyes at you.

3) If she licks her lips while making eye contact with you. Subtly or not, intentionally or not, that is flirting.

4) If she plays with her hair or twirls it when she’s talking to you. I’m not talking about simply touching it or brushing it a couple times. If she’s clearly toying with it, it probably means she’s a little bit shy or nervous around you which is a good thing!

5) If she keeps lightly touching your arm or knee during conversation. Us guys generally feel more relaxed when this happens and definitely more encouraged. Ladies, you don’t have to get sexual to flirt with a guy. In fact, giving us only the tiny physical connection of arm tapping during conversation is often a great way to get us interested in you.

6) If she’s always sending you cute texts. Smilie faces get the message across if used regularly. If a girl is constantly texting the guy first and/or using lots of happy emotions in her texts, the guy is going to think she’s at least mildly interested.

7) If she sexts you.

Christina M. Jones, have you considered that the article may be regarding a certain demographic and not a liberal feminist & recent divorcée? This article is not addressing all women, just as it is not catering to all men.

You may now go make me a sandwich.
